COURSE DESCRIPTION

Usui Reiki Level 1 - Course Description

In this Reiki Level 1 course, you will learn the history and art of energy healing, the foundations and elements of Usui Reiki and be introduced to and practice the first (of 5) symbols that encompass this ancient Japanese healing technique.

 

Although many other certification classes do not require meditation as a prerequisite, it is a much more effective and therefore essential part of the light worker’s process.

 

In this class, you will:

 

-Learn the Eastern Energy System of the 7 Chakras

-Usui Reiki hand positions.

-How to give a Reiki treatment for self and others.

-Receive Reiki Level 1 Attunement.

-38 page course manual

-Certificate from Earth + Soul 

 

The class is a combination of lecture, discussion and experience. Practice time includes giving and receiving a Reiki treatment using all the hand positions, the self-treatment, practice using the Level 1 symbol.

 

While practice takes place during the class, it is expected that you will set aside additional time to practice after the class is over. Please commit to this additional time which should be one evening a week for several weeks, or its equivalent, to practice Reiki with one, or more people from your Reiki class or with members of your family or friends. This additional practice is necessary to gain the experience and confidence you need to fully utilize the Reiki training and to be able to move onto the next level, Reiki Level 2.

 

The Reiki Level 1 Course must have at least 3 people enrolled in order for the class to run effectively.

 

NOTE: In order to qualify for the Reiki Level 1 Course, you must have a meditation practice, have completed Ascension Meditation 1 Course, or be currently enrolled. This course must have a minimum of 3 participants. If class if not filled up, don't worry, I will place you in the next one.
